Description: A 6-acre property in the greater St. Louis, MO area was the site of an auto assembly plant that used a lead based electronic coating in the 1970. Their practices lead to heavy metal contamination on the site, which needed to be remediated before redevelopment. The developer used Blastox 215 to stabilize the heavy metals present in the over 50,000 cubic yards of soil, which allowed for non-hazardous disposal and significant cost savings for the project.
