Each year, The Carpenter Group chooses organizations in southeastern Wisconsin and organizations near our projects, customers, and warehouse locations for donations and volunteer opportunities to ensure that we are giving back to the communities we are active in.

Carpenter Brothers Endowed Scholarship

In 2024, John and Julie Carpenter created the Carpenter Brothers Endowed Scholarship through the Foundry Education Foundation (FEF). This endowment supports college scholarships every 2 years in the foundry industry and is an important way The Carpenter Group and the Carpenter Family will support the foundry industry well in the future.

Foundry Education Support

As a founding member of the American Foundry Society, The Carpenter Group has supported the American Foundry Society (AFS) and the Foundry Education Foundation (FEF) through donations, participation, and volunteering since their founding. 

Additionally, The Carpenter Group has supported middle school and high school students in foundry and environmental trips, apprenticeships, and science fairs to help promote early access to environmental and material sciences.
